LOCATION: Greater Portland Area
SALARY: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
JOB TYPE: Temporary-to-Hire
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using provided instructions and layout boards
• Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires, including RoHS and leaded/non-leaded soldering
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers
• Perform functional and continuity testing using test fixtures
• Work with epoxies, adhesives, and small components with fine motor precision
• Read and follow documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and IPC-620 standards
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical or material issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support other production areas as needed
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Minimum 3 years of wire harness assembly or related experience
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, database entry)
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• The position involves standing or sitting for extended periods and working with hand tools and small parts in a production setting. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and move materials as needed in a manufacturing environment.
