Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking a motivated Window Service Technician in Irving, Texas to perform non-warranty and service repairs at customers’ homes within an assigned territory. This full-time, field-based role serves as the lead technician supporting high-end clients across North Texas—from Waco to the Red River and Tyler to Abilene. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust as needed to meet client requirements. The ideal candidate has prior window service experience, a polished and professional demeanor, and the ability to work in multi-million-dollar homes ($4M+), where discretion, respect, and world-class customer service are expected. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, providing effective solutions, and clearly explaining necessary repairs while maintaining a professional, courteous presence at all times. Responsibilities include performing window service repairs such as adjusting components, replacing parts, conducting water tests, taking measurements, and documenting all work performed. You will pick up parts, drive to job sites, complete multiple service calls per week (approximately 5 to start), and return to reload and prepare for the following day, as well as select and order necessary parts from manufacturers, create parts lists and paperwork, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. As the only technician supported by three administrative team members who handle ordering, staging, and scheduling, this is a lead-level craftsman role with the opportunity to grow into a department leadership position, with occasional travel for training required.

Required Skills and Background:

  • At least 1 year of prior customer service experience.
  • Prior window repair or installation experience required; wood window knowledge strongly preferred (Colby, Marvin, Anderson systems a plus).
  • Experience working in high-end residential environments ($4M+ homes).
  • Strong technical and mechanical ability; ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in the field and think outside the box to repair on site.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (tape measure, level, saws, drills, etc.); own tools are a plus, but not required (tools provided).
  • Ability to work on exterior doors a plus.
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders up to 40 feet, working off scaffolding, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Polished, professional demeanor; must be polite, with no cussing or negative attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle and card provided).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Other Demands:

  • Work is performed in customers’ homes, with occasional time in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to noise and dust. PPE is required when appropriate. This role involves a high level of social interaction with customers and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

20th plus Years Useable after 20th anniversary 22 Days
