Job Description

Danfoss has an immediate opening for a Weekend Day Shift Warehouse Associate, at our Cleveland, Tennessee location. 

Warehouse Associates are responsible for the movement (receive, stock, pick, package and ship) of products to maintain inventory in the warehouse, and to fill customer orders.

All Warehouse Associates flex to different areas within the warehouse, as business need requires.

Hours for this position are 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

• Receive, stock, pull, package, label, palletize, weigh and ship products to maintain inventory in the warehouse, and pull/fill orders for shipments to customers, accurately and on-time
• Operate and read hand-held RF Unit to ascertain part number, quantity and location of products
• Determine product and location to count and pull the correct amount of product to accurately fill orders
• Quickly read and understand shop orders and ascertain part numbers and quantities needed per each package
• Accurately package and label each carton/package
• Count and bag parts per quantity specified on the order, and label bags with part number and quantity
• Retrieve/pull product from the bins or shelves

Background and Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
• One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment/warehouse facility
• Repetitive bending and lifting, up to 40 pounds
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
