Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established local leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an experienced and dependable Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to join their growing team. The company prides itself on exceptional customer service and is looking for a professional driver who shares those values.
Position Summary:
This is a full-time, home-weekly OTR driving role. As a “working driver,” you will be responsible not only for transporting goods but also for tailgating and unloading product at delivery sites. Drivers are compensated $0.30 per box unloaded , in addition to all “dead head” miles being paid.
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
Deliver products on time to various destinations across assigned routes.
Tailgate and unload products (up to 80 lbs); bending/stooping required.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Report layovers using ELS for additional pay.
Company handles all backhaul sourcing – no need to secure return loads.
Comply with all federal, state, and company safety regulations.
Valid CDL Class A license.
Minimum 3 years of OTR driving experience preferred.
Clean driving record (MVR required at interview).
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and physically unload freight.
Flexible availability and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Home weekly
$0.30 per box unloaded
All “dead head” time paid
Layovers paid (must be reported via ELS)
Backhauls arranged by the company
No drop-and-hook or upper U.S. routes (routes typically stay south of US 40)
