Technical Writer

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Contract through February 2026

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

New Carlisle, IN

What you’ll be doing:

• Create and maintain Product Documentation, including user manuals, quick start guides, and technical documentation. Provide support to regionalize documents as needed
• Develop a cataloging system for all product-related documentation
• Organize and write required documents using corporate standard style and formatting guidelines
• Review current documentation and update as required to maintain consistency across product offerings
• Interface with other departments to review brochures, web content, data sheets, and all related material for accuracy
• Responsible for writing White Papers, Application Notes, Case Studies, and Articles
• Interface with other Vertiv teams to coordinate documentation needs related to specific product integration
• Other Duties as assigned

Who we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience required
• Field of study: Communications or English
• 1 to 3 years of writing and editing experience in a professional setting
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information and complex ideas to diverse audiences
