Role details:
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Electronic Hardware Reliability Engineer to join a leading sports lighting client in Oskaloosa, IA. The role involves incorporating design-for-reliability principles into new products - most being proprietary, and systems - and providing technical leadership in reliability evaluations with the goal of improving product/system reliability.
This person will bridge the gap between the design and testing teams to determine test deliverables and participating in Design of Experiments for reliability issues. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to improve failure-data collection, perform root-cause analysis, and determine corrective actions. Additionally, they will assess the impact of field failures, build warranty cost models, and resolve potential product safety issues.
