At indiGO Technologies (Tradename: “GO”), we are changing the electric vehicle paradigm with our own class of ultra-efficient electric vehicles for ride hailing and last-mile delivery use cases. The indiGO line of purpose-built EVs provides the smoothest, roomiest, and most affordable ride using patented SmartWheel technology. Our technology combines premium suspension, a spacious cabin, and low cost-per-mile performance to enable truly sustainable transportation.

We are looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer / Product Manager to manage programs from concept through production, ensuring designs meet business, cost, quality, and manufacturability targets aligned to the corporate strategy and business plan.

This role will work cross-functionally with business, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure we deliver exceptional products on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

• Capture customer, business and product requirements for indiGO offerings and formulate an overall product roadmap for each product line.
• Establish programs and projects that formally scope and track cross-functional efforts from planning to design to production to release.
• Collaborate with leadership, business, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure a seamless production transition from prototype vehicles to full production environments at scale.
• Document and coordinate requirements with Testing and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant safety and performance standards.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and lead the resolution of issues that jeopardize the schedule or budget.
• Maintain thorough documentation of projects, programs, change records, budgets, etc. associated with the role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering.
• 7+ years in vehicle product development.
• Proficiency in product management and project management methodologies and tools.
• Proven ability to manage barriers to on-time/on-budget product releases including proficiency in engineering and manufacturing analysis
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, integration, and manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of business planning, product launches and financial performance fundamentals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic project management skills.

Qualified candidates working from our EV facility and HQ in Woburn, MA (20-minutes from downtown Boston) are preferred and will be prioritized. Note that only experienced and qualified candidates should apply, and also state whether they can either work fulltime in Woburn MA or are open to relocation to the NorthEast area.
