Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in shaping an organization’s financial strategy and ensuring data-driven decision-making. This role requires extensive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and advising business executives. Senior Financial Analysts are responsible for interpreting complex financial data and providing actionable recommendations for improving financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models and conduct variance analyses to support strategic decision-making at the organizational level.
  • Perform budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets (Source: RH Salary Guide 2026.xlsx).
  • Analyze past financial performance and trends to provide forecasts and actionable insights.
  • Partner with business units to align financial planning with operational goals.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, highlighting financial performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue optimization, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies and frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities effectively.
