Salesforce Administrator

Hybrid Role - 3 days onsite in Norfolk, VA; 2 days remote

Recreational Dealer Solutions, a Dominion Enterprises company, is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our Norfolk, VA team.  As Salesforce Administrator, you will maintain and support our Salesforce, Certinia, and AppExchange applications. This role will serve as a primary contact for internal users, ensuring seamless system performance, data integrity, and end-user support. You will work closely with business systems and operations teams to improve processes and enhance the user experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer Salesforce, Certinia, and AppExchange applications

  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permission sets to ensure appropriate access and security

  • Respond to end-user issues and training requests

  • Maintain system metrics to monitor usage and data quality

  • Identify usage issues and develop functional and technical communication plans to address them

  • Partner with management to analyze problems, recommend corrective actions, and implement solutions

  • Collaborate with vendor partners to design and deliver integrated and scalable Salesforce solutions

  • Maintain enhancement and issue logs; act as the initial point of contact for internal requests, issue resolutions, and trainings

  • Implement and maintain complex sales and service workflows, including flows, validation rules, and other automation tools

  • Oversee data integration and quality processes

  • Monitor and maintain system security and data access policies in alignment with organizational compliance standards

  • Support release management processes including sandbox testing, deployment coordination, and change documentation

  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support operational insights and decision-making

  • Document configuration, processes, and best practices to support scalability and knowledge sharing

  • Provide training and one-on-one support to users

What You Bring To The Table

  • BS/BA degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience administering and/or developing in a Salesforce environment

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to test, implement, and document Salesforce system changes independently

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus

This role offers a compensation of approximately $85,000 / annually. Compensation factors include geography, experience, education, job demands, job market, etc. Additional benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account; 401k, company match up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment; paid vacation, company holidays and sick leave; corporate discount opportunities.  This job posting will stay open until the position is filled or deemed to be no longer necessary.
