Research & Development Program Manager

Overview:
An innovative wellness company in Plano is seeking a Research & Development Program Manager to help bring their nutritional and skincare innovations to life. This role combines scientific knowledge with creative communication - perfect for someone who enjoys turning complex research into engaging, easy-to-understand stories that inspire audiences.

The R&D Program Manager will collaborate closely with scientists, marketing, and leadership to present new products, support training initiatives, and represent the company at internal and external events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic presentations and demonstrations that showcase product development, quality, and innovation.

• Create presentation materials, scripts, and visual assets for use in conferences, webinars, and training sessions.

• Partner with R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all materials.

• Serve as a subject-matter expert on product science, focusing on health, wellness, and performance benefits.

• Collect feedback from customers and audiences to inform future R&D and marketing strategies.

• Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to keep content fresh and relevant.

• Support event planning and logistics for both in-person and virtual presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (nutrition, biochemistry, or related discipline) or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in R&D communications, scientific training, or technical presentation roles

• Strong presentation and storytelling abilities; comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally

• Knowledge of nutrition, dietary supplements, or skincare formulation preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, MD) in a relevant scientific or medical field

• Experience presenting at industry events, trade shows, or webinars

• Familiarity with product development processes or technical communication in the wellness or pharmaceutical industry
