This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all the aspects of the quality program
• Maintain the quality system in compliance with all applicable standards – ISO, AS, Nadcap
• Develop, update and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
• Understanding customer requirements to establish, develop and review quality criteria and specifications for raw materials, products and processes
• Oversee the corrective action program, customer complaint program and non-confirming product program
• Internal audit programs to ensure annual requirements, supplier quality audits
• Creating & organizing Inspection reports/bubble drawings for new parts & revisions
• Programming & Operating the Romer Arm CMM
• Laser Lab Testing submittal/review
• ISO Representative – Maintain Quality System in compliance with applicable standards including ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485. Represent the company during all quality audits
• Understand internal and external customer requirements to establish, develop, and review Quality Criteria and specifications for raw material, products, and processes
• Ensure all Quality criteria and requirements are met by incoming customer products and raw materials, and final product/finished goods
• Mechanical inspector, ability to use hand measurement tools, Micro-Hites, Keyence IM vision system, Optical Comparators, Keyence Laser Scanners helpful. Must be familiar with blueprint reading, GDT

Qualifications:

• At least five years previous quality management experience in metal manufacturing
• Experience with internal audit program, supplier quality audits
• Mechanical inspection – GD&T
• Able to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions and engineering specifications
• Experience with measuring devices such as verniers, micrometers, height gages
• Ability to use the CMM is a plus
• Understanding of the NDT process with regards to FPI and X-ray
• Proficient computer skills
• Experience with sheet metal and welding is a plus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening

Hours are:

Monday through Thursday - 5:30am to 4pm

The salary is up to $130K a year based on experience
