VIPColor Technologies, USA, Inc. ( located in Milpitas, CA , a wholly owned subsidiary of Venture. At VIPColor Technologies, we strive to help business owners reduce their labeling cost by using digital label printers. Since 1998, we have been designing full color label printers (in Singapore R&D center), manufacturing and selling printers with image quality that are as good as digital presses. Today, our digital color label printing equipment are marketed by a network of partners across the US, Europe, China and Asia.

Our brilliant color labels help your products shine on the retail shelves. Our durable labels can withstand harsh outdoor elements. But best of all, we help manufacturers handle product SKUs with ease.

We’re looking to add a Printer Technical Specialist in Milpitas, CA .

As a Printer Technical Specialist, You will:

1. Ensure the optimal performance of our printing equipment, contributing to efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of printers to support our organizational goals.

• Install, configure and troubleshoot printers
• Repair and maintain printer hardware
• Respond to customer inquiries related to printer issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot printer related problems
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers
• Perform firmware and software upgrades on printers
• Monitor and manage printer queues
• Configure network settings on printers
• Assist with printer setup, installation, and configuration
• Assist with the implementation of new printer technologies
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and products
• Recommend cost-effective solutions for printer-related problems
• Manage inventory of printer supplies and order replacements as needed

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Understanding of printer systems and concepts.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain printer systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and equipment.
• Knowledge of printer drivers, software and firmware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair both wired and wireless printer networks.

Salary Range : $26 - $30/hr
