Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver an excellent Practical Nursing Clinical & Classroom Instructor curriculum.
• Provide students with lectures covering all aspects of clinical nursing.
• Providing practical nursing experience by way of assigning them to patients/ clients.
• Ensure that the information is communicated in a comprehensive manner, adapting to various teaching methods and the needs of adult learners, with the goal of providing the student body with the tools to work within industry standards.
• Moderate engaging classroom discussions.
• Ensure the curriculum is up to date with current industry practices by way of participation in professional development activities.
• Plan the course materials in conjunction with colleagues and the program supervisor.
• The tracking, grading, and evaluation of student class work.
• Ensure students are prepared for certification exams.
• Oversee a thorough orientation for new students at the facility.
• Attendance of faculty meetings and providing of feedback to the program supervisor.

Qualifications:

• A Master's of Science in Nurse Education is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Candidates with an associate's degree in nursing while enrolled in a BSN program may be considered.
• 3-5 years of RN experience.
• Nursing education in a classroom/ clinical setting is preferred.

Hours & Benefits:

• Thursday - Friday 6:45 AM - 3:45 (M-W) ; 7:45 AM- 3:30 PM
• In-Person
• 10 month position, summers off
