Job Description

We’re looking for a thoughtful and motivated National Account Manager to support the continued growth of New York Shuk across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels nationwide. This role is all about nurturing relationships, supporting account success, and making sure our products get the visibility and placement they deserve—from national retailers to trusted foodservice partners.

You should have a strong foundation in CPG account management, feel comfortable working with distributors like UNFI and KeHE, and be familiar with the rhythms of national and regional retail. If you're also someone who can help us stay organized behind the scenes—while jumping in to support launches, trade shows, and promotions—you’ll fit right in.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retailer & Distributor Management

  • Manage day-to-day communications with our outsourced sales team and distributors (e.g., UNFI, KeHE), helping troubleshoot and strengthen relationships.
  • Lead or support category review submissions and pitch materials for new placements.
  • Help coordinate trade spend, pricing, and promotional calendars.
  • Planning and logistics for key trade shows and industry events.

Foodservice & Wholesale Account Support

  • Maintain and grow foodservice relationships, ensuring consistent support and fulfillment.
  • Help execute purchase orders and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support wholesale growth via Faire and direct accounts, helping streamline onboarding and service.

Wholesale Expansion

  • Drive growth through Faire and direct B2B wholesale relationships.
  • Implement strategies to enhance wholesale operations, streamlining processes for customer acquisition and support.

Account Strategy & Execution

  • Track and analyze key sales KPIs (velocity, distributor activity, reorder cadence) to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with operations to forecast demand, ensuring alignment with retailer launches and promotions
  • Own essential sales admin tasks, including distributor deductions, new item paperwork, promotional submissions, and CRM database updates.

Retail & Shopper Marketing Support

  • Oversee retail-driven marketing efforts, including Instacart promotions, Amazon growth strategies, and other retailer initiatives.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years experience in CPG account management.
  • Prior experience working with national and regional retailers, distributors, and/or foodservice accounts.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Positive energy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Salaried, Full-Time position
  • Compensation: $66,000–$75,000 dependent on experience.
