Job Description

Our client, a growing medical device company, is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Territory Manager to join their sales team! This is a consultative, field-based sales role responsible for managing and growing a defined territory, working closely with healthcare educators, training programs, hospitals, and academic institutions. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on product environment, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and is comfortable driving sales through in-person demonstrations and solution-based conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training sessions for clinical educators, faculty, and simulation staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, including hospitals, medical schools, nursing programs, and training centers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and educational events.
  • Maintain accurate territory records, pipeline updates, and activity tracking in CRM.
  • Stay informed on new products, clinical applications, and market trends to support customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, and customer support to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience; medical device/clinical sales strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting in-person product demos or technical presentations.
  • Comfort selling into educational or clinical environments (simulation centers, hospitals, academic programs, etc.).
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a large, multi-state field territory.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory (up to 50–70%).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

What They Offer

  • Competitive compensation package with base salary + uncapped commission.
  • Monthly car stipend, plus travel reimbursement.
  • Robust product training and ongoing professional development.
  • Opportunity to represent highly respected, innovative products that make a real impact on clinical training and patient outcomes.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven team environment.
