Mechanical Designer - P&ID

Charlotte, North Carolina (Commutable from: South Carolina, Belmont, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Matthews, Fort Mill)

Are you a Mechanical Designer with P&ID experience, looking to play a pivotal role on a variety of innovative projects at a globally recognized organization, offering specialist training and progression to senior/management level?

In this technical role you will work in a team of four, to design and prepare P&IDs, equipment lists and PFDs, using AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor. This role entails both conception to completion design, as well as modifying existing designs. There will be less than 5% travel in this role, with the option to travel abroad to see your work come to life.

This role would suit a Mechanical Designer with P&ID experience, looking to play a pivotal role at a globally recognized organization, whilst receiving management, Inventor and AutoCAD training, as well as progressing to management level.

The Role:

  • Work under the direction of the lead engineer, to draft and prepare P&IDs, equipment lists and PFDs, using AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor
  • Conception to completion design and modifying existing designs
  • Less than 5% travel
  • Receive training on bespoke design packages and progress to management level
