Logistics Specialist

Location: New Castle, DE

The Logistics Specialist plans, coordinates, and oversees the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods and information within a supply chain, managing tasks like inventory, warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment from origin to final delivery. Key responsibilities include optimizing logistics processes, tracking shipments, managing supplier and client relationships, and resolving logistical issues to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management: Managing the entire lifecycle of products, from the acquisition of raw materials to the distribution and final delivery to clients.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring products are accounted for and in the right place at the right time.
  • Warehousing: Overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage of goods and managing the flow of materials within the facility.
  • Transportation Coordination: Arranging and coordinating the movement of goods, including selecting transportation methods and scheduling deliveries.
  • Shipment Management: Tracking shipments, creating shipping manifests, and ensuring orders are fulfilled and delivered accurately and on time.
