(Hybrid) Accounts Payable Clerk Location Hybrid remote in Miami, FL : JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Hybrid, Coral Gables Schedule: 9am - 6pm / 8am - 5pm Type of contract: Temp to Perm with 3 months of probationary period Salary: $22/h DESCRIPTION: Join our dynamic insurance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist! We're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to play a pivotal role in processing vendor payments, expense reports, and reconciliations. • Efficiently manage the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payment processing.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards related to insurance accounting.
• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing relevant financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related, Bachelor's PREFERRED, Associate's is a MUST
• 2- 3 years of proven experience in accounts payable, preferably but necessary within the insurance industry.
• Proficient in accounting software Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
