Head of Human Resources

📍 Location: Stamford, CT (Onsite)

💰 Compensation: $180,000–$200,000

We’re looking for a high-energy , adaptable HR leader to join a rapidly growing organization at a critical time of transformation. This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building while executing, and has the people skills to work closely with leadership across all levels.

This person will report directly to the CEO/COO and will be instrumental in shaping the future of our workforce, culture, and operations.

What You’ll Tackle

🧠 Strategy

• Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to support growth
• Drive change management and cultural transformation initiatives

🗣️ Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner directly with executive leadership to understand business needs and deliver HR solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor on everything from team structure to performance strategy

⚙️ HR Operations

• Own HR infrastructure: onboarding, compliance, employee relations, policies, and systems
• Maintain strong knowledge of employment law and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance

🌱 People & Talent

• Lead full-cycle talent management : recruiting, performance, retention, compensation, and benefits
• Help build future-facing comp/benefits programs aligned with business goals

About You

• 10–12+ years of HR experience, including strategic and hands-on generalist roles
• Proven track record in high-growth or transforming companies (mid-size preferred)
• Experience with job architecture , comp benchmarking , and HR systems
• Strong communication skills—you can influence and build trust at all levels
• Flexible, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable with change and ambiguity
• Bonus: Experience in the waste management or industrial services industry
