Job Description

Are you looking for work that matters? My client, a respected boutique Estate Planning Law Firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is seeking a full-time Attorney to join their family-friendly team. Whether you’re a newer attorney looking to learn and grow or a seasoned professional seeking a leadership opportunity, this position offers the chance to do meaningful work, collaborate with a close-knit team, and potentially step into a long-term successor role.

Why You Should Apply

  • Join a trusted firm with nearly 20 years of experience and thousands of loyal estate planning and elder law clients.
  • Be part of a mission-driven team that helps families achieve peace of mind, prosperity, and lasting legacies.
  • Work in a supportive, education-focused environment that encourages both mentorship and innovation.
  • Contribute ideas and grow your practice within a proven, systems-based model.
  • Competitive Salary, Comprehensive Benefits & Ownership Potential: Strong base salary (plus bonuses), 75% paid BCBS healthcare, HSA, 401(k), generous paid time off, malpractice insurance, BAR dues, continuing education, and long-term succession potential for the right fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Help deliver coordinated legal and financial strategies that protect families and their futures.
  • Work with (and possibly lead) a dedicated team committed to integrity, responsiveness, and service.
  • Provide guidance across a wide range of estate planning matters—from wills and trusts to probate and trust administration.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and second-generation families who value the firm’s legacy.
  • Play a key role in sustaining and growing the firm’s strong reputation in the Grand Forks community and beyond.

About You

  • Law Degree and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in North Dakota and Minnesota.
  • Experience in estate planning is a plus—but attorneys from other practice areas with strong interpersonal and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Financial, tax, or accounting background is helpful but not required.
  • Positive, organized, accountable, and eager to learn—or share your knowledge if you’re a more experienced practitioner.
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and speaking to small groups.

Ready to Make an Impact? Whether you’re seeking growth, purpose, or a long-term home, this is a chance to build a rewarding career in a values-driven environment. Join our client’s trusted firm and help shape the future—for families, and for yourself.
