As a Director on the Market Access team , you will lead the consulting efforts of a diverse range of market access and commercialization issues, such as launch/market planning, coverage/coding/policy considerations, pricing/distribution considerations, engagement and communication strategy, and sales force effectiveness needs across commercial and public payers (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid), PBMs, health systems, and other organized healthcare stakeholders. ADVI advises on how our clients’ products and services fit within the coverage and reimbursement landscape across benefit categories and help our clients optimize coverage, patient access, and appropriate reimbursement for their products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships - understanding client needs, managing expectations, and providing exceptional service
  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead on multiple clients and projects
  • Set direction and manage the day-to-day work of Manager(s) and Associate(s) assigned to an engagement;
  • Lead internal and advisor teams to drive client deliverables to completion within expected timelines and within budget
  • Oversee and/or conduct primary and secondary market research to address client/project objectives
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the markets and policies/legislation/regulations relevant to ADVI and ADVI’s clients and develop actionable and strategic insights
  • Manage and/or sell a set dollar amount of sales and deliver a set dollar amount of revenue per fiscal year (i.e., business development responsibilities)
  • Develop and mentor junior members on his/her project teams

Education

  • College degree
  • Advanced degree preferred; advanced degree may be substituted with work experience

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or precision medicine consulting, preferably in a managerial or leadership role with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and expanding the client base
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Experience with leading and developing teams

Location

Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those operating in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone. Candidates based in Washington, DC or Austin, TX, will have the option of hybrid work arrangements.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $165,000 to $220,000 with up to 20% bonus potential, depending on experience and qualifications. Exceptionally qualified candidates will be evaluated according to experience levels.Please include your salary requirements with your application if they exceed the posted range.
