Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Counseling Intern located in Chandler, AZ. The Counseling Intern will be responsible for providing support to licensed counselors, conducting client assessments, and assisting in developing treatment plans. They will also handle administrative tasks, maintain client records, participate in supervision meetings, and help facilitate group therapy sessions. The intern will gain practical experience working with diverse populations and under supervision to enhance their counseling skills.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of counseling theories and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Experience with or knowledge of administrative tasks such as maintaining client records
• Capability to work with diverse populations and in a team environment
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counseling or a related field
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
• Previous counseling experience or internships are a plus
