Job Description

We are looking for a Temporary (Contract) Compliance and Privacy Specialist to join the team! This is a Temporary/Contract 4-6 week HYBRID position in the San Ramon, CA area .

Description:

• The Compliance and Privacy Specialist (CPS) assists with the Compliance and Privacy Program Elements.
• The CPS provides support to the Senior Manager Corporate Compliance and Privacy gathering and maintaining information for the required elements of a compliance and privacy program and maintains timely and accurate internal and external compliance communications.
• Additionally, the CPS will maintain clear and concise detail-level supporting documentation of departmental projects and corporate projects that impact the department in an orderly fashion.
• The CPS assists staff with representing Compliance in cross-functional projects or Health Plan audits, participating in meetings with other departments on Compliance and Privacy matters.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare is required.
• EPIC experience is preferred..
• Compliance Certification and/or Compliance Privacy Certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
• Strong understanding of PHI/HIPAA guidelines is preferred.
• Strong software applications skills, including Microsoft Suite are required.
• Must be able to work with multiple screens.
• Experience with Workday, SharePoint, PRISM, Salesforce (or similar software) is a plus.
• Strong oral, written, reading comprehension, research, organizational, and negotiation skills are required.

Details:

• This is a Temporary/Contract 4-6 week HYBRID position in the San Ramon, CA area .
• Hybrid Schedule: Monday/Tuesday IN-office; Wednesday-Friday REMOTE; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Pay: $40/hour
• This is a W-2 position. No B2C/C2C. No Sponsorship. No relocation. Must be local to the San Ramon, CA area.
