Located in Chesterton, Indiana, they're known for their innovation-driven, collaborative, never-had-a-layoff culture. • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems integral to CNC machine operation
  • Read and interpret PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot production equipment issues and implement operational improvements
  • Collaborate with programming team and production staff to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support weekend production needs
  • Document repairs and maintain detailed maintenance records for 2,000+ facility assets

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 74 accredited hours in Industrial Maintenance program, OR minimum 7+ years hands-on CNC maintenance experience
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing Fanuc CNC controls (critical requirement)
  • Demonstrated expertise in CNC mechanical repairs: turret alignment, spindle diagnostics, servo motor troubleshooting, and precision component replacement
  • Proficiency reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills with ability to read and modify ladder logic programs

  • Experience using diagnostic tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized CNC diagnostic software
  • Valid driver's license and availability for on-call rotation (Friday-Sunday)
  • Stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment to previous employers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems in addition to Fanuc
  • Background maintaining CNC equipment in discrete manufacturing or job shop environment with high asset count
  • Certification in CNC maintenance, Fanuc controls, or related technical credentials
