**Job Title: Chemical Operator** **Job Description** As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for performing kettle and holding tank washouts compliant with departmental and formula requirements. You will record raw material details, including lot and batch numbers, and ensure all paperwork and container labels are accurately completed. Additionally, you will submit samples for quality control testing and approval, ensuring formula batches meet the specified requirements. **Responsibilities** + Follow Production Order Instructions and processes to ensure formula batches meet required specifications. + Safely use tools such as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer raw materials and formulas. + Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and wear all applicable PPE while adhering to the Production Floor Employee Dress Code. + Execute housekeeping tasks in Compounding work areas to maintain a safe and clean environment. + Replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors for safe material transfer. + Assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps. + Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack as needed. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail + Adherence to all safety procedures + Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes + Chemical mixing and compounding + Batch making + Forklift operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Chemical experience preferred + Basic math, reading, and writing skills **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, a 401K with matching contributions, and a Health Savings Account contribution.
