About the Practice

This internationally respected Restructuring and Insolvency group advises clients across the full spectrum of financial distress situations. The team is especially known for handling large-scale cross-border restructurings and insolvencies involving U.S. Chapter 11 filings, UK schemes, debt-for-equity swaps, and distressed M&A. Clients include corporations, financial institutions, investors, and creditors navigating complex restructuring scenarios. Attorneys in this practice benefit from:

  • Engagement on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
  • Experience representing debtors and creditors in complex U.S. bankruptcy matters.
  • Opportunities to collaborate across practices including finance, corporate, real estate, tax, and litigation.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Texas or eligible for admission.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in restructuring and insolvency, preferably in a large firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 11, Chapter 15, and related bankruptcy procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary expected between $260,000 and $365,000, depending on class year and experience. Additional benefits include discretionary bonuses, comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan with matching, and wellness initiatives.
