Job Description

The Insulation & HVAC Installer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality energy efficiency installations under the Austin Energy Multifamily Rebate Program. This role focuses primarily on attic insulation and duct sealing , while also assisting in HVAC tune-ups and system verification as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential or multifamily construction, is detail-oriented, and works well in both team and independent environments.

$20 - $26 hourly

• Install insulation materials (blown-in, batt, or spray foam) in attics and walls following program standards.
• Perform duct sealing, air sealing, and light weatherization tasks to improve energy efficiency.
• Assist the HVAC team with the installation of air conditioning systems, mini-splits, or air handlers when required.
• Safely operate ladders, blowers, vacuums, and other insulation tools.
• Ensure all work meets Austin Energy rebate program specifications and quality standards.
• Protect client property by using drop cloths, floor savers, and cleanup procedures.
• Document all completed work accurately, including photos and material usage logs.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to verify system performance.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and organized condition.
• Follow company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and CG Service Pros’ Code of Ethics.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• 1+ years of experience in insulation, weatherization, or HVAC installation preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics and crawl spaces.
• Comfortable working in hot or confined environments.
