Assistant Store Manager – Plato’s Closet Ankeny, IA
Part-Time or Full-Time
Plato’s Closet Ankeny is on the hunt for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our management team. In this role, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operations of the store, inspire your team, and ensure every customer has an amazing shopping experience. You’ll be mentored by one of the best managers in the area and work alongside a fun, highly effective team that knows how to get results while keeping things upbeat.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Thrives on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Knows how to interview, hire, and train a strong team.
• Can motivate, develop, and lead by example.
• Has an eye for fashion and can merchandise the store to highlight trends.
• Is organized and can handle scheduling, payroll, and records with accuracy.
• Brings creativity to marketing efforts — from in-store displays to online promotions.
• Can juggle priorities, problem solve, and keep operations running in a fast-paced environment.
• Wants to grow revenue while keeping an eye on expenses.
Requirements: At least one year of retail experience. Retail management experience preferred, but not required — we’re willing to train the right person!
