Role Description

This is a full-time, year round Arborist role. The Arborist will be responsible for tasks such as forestry management, tree identification, and applying arboriculture practices to ensure the health and longevity of trees.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tree Climber / Trimmer or in a similar role.
  • Tree Identification and Certified Arborist credentials
  • Strong knowledge and experience in tree care practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to operate tree care equipment safely
  • ISA Certification is a plus
  • Sales in the Tree Industry is a PLUS
  • Ability to use/learn software for logging jobs and crew activity a plus

Responsibilities (multiple levels of skills will be considered)

  • Perform tree climbing and rigging techniques to safely trim and remove trees.
  • Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for tree maintenance tasks.
  • Assess tree health and provide appropriate care based on scientific principles.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills
